A confident, and audacious leader prepared to take risks and use technology skills to my advantage.

I’m Natalya, a confident and audacious leader prepared to take risks and use technology skills to my advantage. My many experiences have allowed me to understand where people are coming from and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. I have a huge passion for technology, it is something that I felt has always resonated with me. I began in 6th grade and I am continuing it to this day. Being in robotics has put me one step ahead of the curve and allowed me to develop a unique skill set. Robotics requires you to be creative and always think one step ahead, it takes willpower, passion, and most importantly curiosity. To build and code, you need to be eager to understand new things. You must be curious because it takes you to develop new paths, hobbies, and ideas. Also, it takes adaptability, nothing ever works on the first try. Code is something that is interchangeable and takes a while to perfect, which is why being adaptable, and trying new ways of doing things can help you get where you want to be. I am also eager to expand my network. I love meeting new people and building relationships with them. This year, I took part in The Summit, where high school students were allowed to collaborate and build their networks. I was given the chance to meet new people and build relationships with them that can take me one step closer to success. From this experience, I met people at the summit that want to help me achieve my goals. Any challenge that is thrown at me I am willing to conquer. But, how can I have all of these qualities without being a leader? I am a leader, willing to help others achieve their goals while I strive for mine. To be a leader, you must be charismatic and confident. By working closely together, I am a natural-born leader that has always thrived in helping others achieve their goals. I am ready to step up to the plate without hesitation. I have always been a leader, from classes to captain to an ambassador, I love to show people what I can do and lead the way. I led the robotics team to many victories and have helped others become situated when it comes to a new school. I am Natalya Medina, a technology-oriented, creative leader who can adapt to many situations. I am eager to seek out new opportunities daily starting in my community.
I chose the words leader, curious, and extrovert because I feel this is an accurate description of myself and what I am perceived as. There are other words below, but I feel these are the best representation of me

Pictured is a timeline of me starting since I was a baby! Each one has a year of when the photo was taken with a concise description!
Fun Facts:
Throughout my younger years, I used to pluck hairs from my brother's head; every time anyone tried to take a picture of him I used to come up from behind, photobomb, and then pluck! It got some laughs!
Yes, I did have 11 American Girl Dolls! I had a bit of an obsession!
My brother & I modeled in a fashion show for 2 years where we won our trip to Mexico! Take a look at my postcard!
For the first 11 years of my life, I lived in New Jersey!

Simplicity
Just as the quote reads, simplicity produces something marvelous. Making something visually appealing must be simple and easy to read. I learned that we must make sure people can understand it and view it quickly without straining themselves. As well as color, people are attracted to colors, but not too much, we must include some color so it is no boring, but not too much that it is overwhelming.
@AlishaVasan & I made a video in PB about social media and its detrimental effects. We designed an ad to show people the fakeness that occurs on multiple platforms and that it isn't reality. Hope you enjoy it! #goingbeyondthelike
